Lambeth Self Help is a fully mutual co-operative. All members have to be tenants and all tenants have to be members.

Members of a housing co-operative participate in the decision taking through a democratic process exercised in General Meetings and Management Committee Meetings.

At General Meetings every member has the right to vote. At the Management Committee meetings only members of the Management Committee are entitled to vote.

The Management Committee is elected once a year at the Annual General Meeting and can have up to 15 members.

Becoming a member means participating in decision-making, attending meetings, and contributing to the co-op’s success. We encourage all members to get involved, whether by joining the Management Committee, attending the AGM, or participating in subcommittees.
